Recently we covered a story about Haitian voodoo priests being lynched by angry mobs accusing them of spreading cholera in the earthquake ravaged country.
Another voodoo related story has just emerged, this time involving an American relief worker.
32-year old Paul Waggoner, the co-founder of Materials Management Relief Corps has been accused of turning a 15-month old dead baby boy into a zombie for the purpose of selling it’s organs.
Waggoner is being held in prison pending further investigation after a judge ruled there was enough evidence to look into the charges further.
The accusation was made by the child’s father Frantz Philistin, who brought the sick child to a hospital in February. Philistin handed the child over to Waggoner, who then took the child to doctors. The child died, but wasn’t treated by Waggoner.
When the father came back the next day doctors say he saw the baby and confirmed his death. He refused to take the child with him, insisting he didn’t have the money for a burial, and the child was cremated by the hospital. But now Philistin is accusing Waggoner of performing voodoo on the child to keep him alive.
“My son is not dead, when I tried to close his eyes they wouldn’t close. When I tried to close his mouth it wouldn’t close,” Philistin told AOL news.
Doctors on call at the time of the child’s death dispute Philistin’s claims.
“I listened to the baby’s chest for at least two minutes,” Dr Kenneth Adams said. “And there were neither breath sounds nor heartbeat. Rigor mortis had set it, the baby’s lips and skin were bluish gray and there was corneal clouding of the eyes. I always take very seriously pronouncing the death of any patient.”
Waggoner’s friends are concerned or his safety.
Paul Sebring came to Haiti with Waggoner, he says the prison conditions his friend is being kept in are horrible.
We’ve literally given up everything in our lives to come help, and then this happens, we need help,” Sebring told MyFoxPhoenix. “The conditions he‘s in now I‘ve been to the prison. I wouldn’t even put an animal through that.”
The U.S. State Department is monitoring the case closely according to spokesman P.J. Crowley.
What’s uncertain is how long Waggoner will remain jailed and if the U.S. can do anything to get him released.

Jay Electronica is slamming rumors that he’s part of the Illuminati, the secret society entertainers like Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Jay-Z have been accused of working with to establish a “New World Order.”
Electronica’s name has recently been linked to the group, due to his signing to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation record label in November.
The New Orleans emcee known for being opinionated, took to his Twitter page to air out his grievances with fans that accuse him of being a part of the occult organization and said,

Talib Kweli and his wife DJ Eque are denying rumors that they were spotted getting into a physical altercation at the rapper’s album release party.
News hit the net this weekend that Kweli was attacked by his wife for flirting with a woman that ended in them falling back on a table and breaking glasses.
The story was originally run by the NY Post, who added that the emcee thanked Hennessey for paying his wedding in 2009 “otherwise he wouldn’t have got married.”
According to Kweli and Eque however, the story is completely false.
The rapper denied the rumors to Miss Dimplez saying that while he and his wife argued, the incident was blown out of proportion.
“Although we argued none of the rest of it is true. I definitely did not did not say I would not have gotten married if it wasn’t for Hennessy. I wasn’t kicked out, the party had been over and the footage of what I actually said is on youtube…”
His wife also took to her Twitter page to tell her side of the story.
“Who is making up all these crazy ass rumors? My husband did not hit me & I didn’t go into rage and attack him over flirting?? That’s crazy, Ppl (sic) need to check there facts before they start reblogging stuff!! Its (sic) time for joy and blessing, just stop with all the negative talk and energy….we all need to be more thankful.”
Pressing the muzzle of a gun to his 50-year-old wife’s head and pulling the trigger while they were having sex apparently was a major turn on for an Oklahoma man—until the gun actually fired and killed her. At least that’s the story husband Arthur Sedille, 23, is giving cops. The couple didn’t realize the gun was loaded the very last time they were having sex, he told police. Sedille immediately dialed 911 but it was too late to do anything. He’s being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, but no formal charges have yet been filed, and police are continuing to investigate, CNN reports.
