“FBI-Orchestrated Conspiracy”: Judge Orders Release Of 3 Of Newburgh 4 Tied To Fake NY Bomb Plot…

For the past 14 years, relatives of four men jailed on terrorism charges in Newburgh, New York, have accused the FBI of entrapment. On Thursday, a federal judge agreed and ordered the release of three of the men known as the Newburgh Four: David Williams, Onta Williams and Laguerre Payen. The men had been sentenced to 25 years in prison for a government-orchestrated bombing plot of a New York synagogue in 2010. In a stunning decision, the judge accused the FBI of inventing a conspiracy. With the men set to be released within 90 days, we speak with lawyers Kathy Manley and Stephen F. Downs from the Coalition for Civil Freedoms about the monumental ruling, the legal issues with entrapment and what the ruling means for the many cases like this one. Havoc Claims Cell Phone Was Stolen!

Early this morning, the Internets were all in a huff over slanderous tweets that were thought to be coming from Havoc of Mobb Deep and aimed at his long time rhyme co-d Prodigy. In a series of tweets, Havoc’s @THEREALHAVOC account called Capital P everything but a child of God while alleging that he engaged in homos-xual acts while he was locked up. The fellow Queensbridge rapper and accomplished producer also threatened P with the fade on sight. Well in a dramatic turn of events, by social media standards, Havoc claims that it was all a case of a stolen cell phone.

The H.A.V.O.C. issued the following statement:

“Just getting back into NY after my Easter weekend with family and friends in Jersey. I left my phone at a gas station yesterday evening while on my way to Jersey after a glorious Knick’s game.  To all Mobb Deep fans: it’s business as usual! It’s Mobb Deep all day!!! My twitter account @THEREALHAVOC will be down until further notice. The only other real account is @PRODIGYMOBBDEEP. Ignore the rest. One!”

Earlier this evening, Prodigy—who recently told Hip-Hop Wired about Mobb Deep’s formula for longevity—issued a short statement of his own, via Twitter. “ATTENTION: TO BE CLEAR@PRODIGYMOBDEEP IS A FAKE PAGE I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY SH-T IS VERIFIED TWITTER PEOPLE R ON SUM BULLSHIT RIGHT NOW SMH..,” he tweeted. “IM A FATHER ,AN ADULT, IM NOT HERE TO BEEF IM HERE TO MAKE MUSIC.”

This whole debacle sounds suspicious. What do you think?
