‘Aspiring Terrorist’ Arrested In Philly For Allegedly Building Weapon Of Mass Destruction

A Philadelphia teen has been charged and arrested with multiple state charges stemming from an FBI terrorism investigation, officials announced Monday. The teen, a 17-year-old whose name is not being released, is being charged as a juvenile, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said at a news conference. “The young man who is under arrest is — was an aspiring terrorist who was not merely thinking, but was doing things that are deeply disturbing and presented a grave danger to everyone,” Krasner said.

Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs will be one of several rap heavy weights attending a black-tie benefit in Philadelphia this weekend to raise funds and toys for the homeless and financially challenged this holiday season. The rap star will be joined by comedian Jamie Foxx, Vivica A. Fox, Lance Gross, Jermaine Dupri and others, as part of the first annual Joy to the World Festival taking place from December 16th-19th.

Racist Philly Swim Club Gets Sued….

The infamous Philadelphia swim club that made headlines for turning away Black and Latino children that changed the “complexion” of the business is getting its just due after being served with court papers.

The Justice Department has filed a discrimination lawsuit against the Huntingdon Valley swim club claiming that the establishment engaged in a pattern of racial discrimination.

The lawsuit is seeking to ban the swim club and any other business from acting in a manner.

Assistant Attorney General Thomas E. Perez for the Civil Rights Division issued a statement denouncing the swim club saying,

“It is illegal and inexcusable to discriminate against patrons by barring them from a place of public accommodation on the basis of race or color.”

If you can remember, following the incident in the summer the Huntingdon Valley Swim Club was fined $50,000 by the Pennsylvania Human Rights Commission and was forced to file for bankruptcy.
