Nicki Minaj Reveals She Contemplated Suicide

In the November issue of Cosmo, the star rapper revealed that before her career took off, she once complemented saying, “I kept having doors slammed in my face. I felt like nothing was working.”

“I had moved out on my own, and here I was thinking I’d have to go home,” she continued.

“It was just one dead end after another. At one point, I was, like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt. Like maybe I should just take my life?”

Although those were dark days in Nicki’s life, she was able to turn things around and become one of the biggest entertainers in the business.

And though she has had major success, Nicki revealed more goals that she’s looking to achieve in her career:

“I’ll have hundreds of millions of dollars,” Minaj said.

“I will have put out five albums and will have an Oscar and Grammys. And I will be getting married and, a couple of years after that, will have a bun in the oven.”

R.I.P: Actress Elizabeth Taylor Passes Away @ 79!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of actress Elizabeth Taylor, who passed away this morning due to congestive heart failure at age 79.  Taylor was an Academy Award winning actress known for her role as Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and was also known for her eight marriages – twice of which were to her Cleopatra co-star Richard Burton.  And every woman has probably owned her fragrance White Diamonds at some point in there lives, which seemed like it was the first highly successful celebrity fragrance.  May Dame Elizabeth Rest In Peace!

Higlights From The 2010 Soul Train Awards!

The 2010 Soul Train Music Awards aired last night.

Hosted by Academy Award nominated actors Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, the show was taped at the Cobb Energy Center on Nov. 10 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The show featured Legend Awards and tributes given to Anita Baker and Ron Isley.

There were also great performances by Ne-Yo, Tank, Eric Benet, Jazmine Sullivan, R. Kelly, Erykah Badu, Cee Lo, Doug E Fresh, Faith Evans, El Debarge and more.
