R.I.P My Brother!
After the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a stay in the execution of convicted cop killer Troy Davis, the state was allowed to proceed with the lethal injection.
Davis was declared dead at 11:08 pm EST on Wednesday night.
The 42-year-old Davis was put to death for the 1989 killing of an off-duty police officer in Savannah, Georgia.
Reports also stated that just moments before his death, Davis still maintained his innocence, telling the victim’s family that he was not guilty.

Rapper Gucci Mane is reportedly still behind bars today after being arrested for pushing a woman out of a moving vehicle.
According to authorities Gucci was arrested on a warrant that he intentionally caused visible bodily harm to an unnamed female by pushing her out of a moving vehicle.
If and when he makes bail however, the rapper will reportedly be taken to a Fulton County prison where he’ll serve time for the probation violation charge.
He faces up to 2 years in prison.
According to reports, Stokes was visiting a friend in Georgia when she was confronted by her husband Tony Stokes with allegations that the singer had been unfaithful. The conversation escalated into violence with Tony allegedly, punching and choking Sara.
Tony was arrested and released on $2,000 bond according to TMZ.
The couple has a history of violence. In August 2009, Stokes was arrested for stabbing Tony in the arm with a knife in front of their three children.
Stokes was discovered during the second cycle of P. Diddy’s hit MTV reality show, Making The Band. She was the only R&B singer in the six-member band that included rappers Dylan Dilinjah, Chopper, Babs Bunny, E-Ness and Freddy P. The group produced one album, Too Hot For TV in 2003 before disbanding to pursue solo careers.
Last June, Stokes sued singer/producer T. Pain, claiming the producer cheated her out of royalties for song they co-authored for R&B singer Jennifer Hudson.

Stone was pulled over last night for speeding and authorities arrested the singer after finding out she was driving on a suspended license.
The singer was booked on both charges and released a short time later.
Another Atlanta area preacher stands accused of molesting children.
Bishop Johnathan Alvarado is reportedly being looked at by the DeKalb County District Attorney’s office over recent allegations of his sexual misconduct towards members of his congregation.
The investigation apparently stems from the tweets of one of the church’s former pastors.
The ‘Crimes Against Children Review’ began when the D.A.’s office learned about a series of tweets on a Twitter page belonging to former pastor at the church, Shaun King, in which King suggests that Alvarado may be sexually abusing young members.
The D.A’s office has begun questioning people associated with the church about the matter, and are not calling it a full investigation right now, according to Fox 5 News.
Bishop Alvarado has yet to be charged with any crimes.
