Freeky Zekey Speaks On Dip Set’s Reunion…

With the complaints of the former Dip Set members coming out, it seemed only logical that fans of the infamous group would soon hear from the captain Freeky Zekey about the alleged improper conduct that seemed to end the group.

With his lead single “Feel Me” off of his debut album on Big Kat Records, fans got some of the answers they were looking for when the Harlemite explained that Cam and Jim Jones shared equal blame with “shiesty” contracts with the crew and stealing money from him and Juelz.

“My whole thing, I think it’s some hop squash, I think everybody need to go and slap each other with a leather glove,” Freeky Zekey told HipHopWired.com. “I think we need to sit down and re-do everything all over, because there was a lot of the things that people don’t agree that Cam did with [the] shiesty contracts and there’s a lot of things that Jim did [with the] robbing [of ] the money.”

Although there were a lot of problems within the group and mismanagement with money, Freekey Zekey insists that there is no love lost between he and his former crew.

“Who hasn’t got over on somebody,” Zekey explained, “We all probably got over a dollar or two. Whether it was a female in the hood and she told a dude she was pregnant and he gave her $300 for no reason or a dude tell his man something cost $10 and it really cost $4 and the same situation is happening as far as Dip Set is concerned and I think everybody should just chill out, reevaluate what happened in the past and meet at some type of standard. At the end of the day, I feel that when it comes to the Dip Set reunion, everybody needs to shut up and get this money. That’s how Freaky feels, the president of Diplomat Records.”

The Firm Reunion Concert Was Canceled….

The Firm reunion concert, with AZ and Foxy Brown, was canceled at the last minute Thursday (December 10) night in New York City.

According to reports, a dispute took place between AZ and the event promoter.

Fans waited on line yesterday for hours to catch the show to no avail. Yet the concert was canceled after there was a dispute between the rap vet and the promoter of the show. XXLMag.com spoke to Larry Gold, a publicist at the venue, who assures ticket holders that they will be reimbursed. “95-99 percent of our shows we are dealing directly dealing with either the agent or manager,” Gold explained. “And this is one of those shows that went through a middle party. So other than we are reaching out to the promoter today to find out really what happened. Sadly to say we are really in the dark.” (XXL Mag)

Lil Scrappy Speaks On Young Buck’s G-Unit Reunion….

G-Unit associate Lil Scrappy recently spoke on his relationship with Young Buck and 50 Cent claiming the Cashville rapper would likely not be able to mend past issues with his former camp.

Having been involved with the Unit during the promotion of Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live, Scrappy detailed where he stood during the two’s publicized rap beef.

“Buck is my homie; he’s like a big brother you never had,” Scrappy explained in an interview. “50 is also a big brother you never had. I was around both of them when they would talk about each other love-wise, and that sh*t just flipped, which is what money does. 50 is a real dude. He didn’t have to do any of that sh*t for none of us. Young Buck and Lloyd Banks were the first ones. I didn’t really get the love that they got. 50 thought they were his babies and if you talked to him, he would tell you that. Buck just saw me in the same situation that he was in, when he got shot up and ain’t nobody f*ckin’ with him. I just talked to him like three weeks ago, and he said keep doing what you’re doing, and I was like I appreciate everything he did for me. And I’m out here grustlin’ and if we can make a hit record again, we can do it. Buck and 50 beefing is like two brothers beefing, and they ain’t never going to talk to each other again, but it ain’t that beat though. They will probably get over it one day, but I doubt it just because its disloyalty. [You’ve] got to be loyal. Look at Lil Wayne with Cash Money: he was loyal and look where he’s at right now.” (Hip Hop DX)
