Foxy Brown may have just cleared of charges in her ‘mooning’ case, but she isnt going to let what she feels was a railroading by the powers that be go unnoticed.
The rapper and her attorney Salvatore Strazzullo plan to sue the city of New York, the New York Police Department and the District Attorney’s for “malicious prosecution.”
Tuesday (July 12) Fox Boog was cleared of charges that she mooned her neighbor Arlene Raymond in July 2010, thus violating her a order of protection against her obtained by her neighbor. Raymond refused to testify in court leaving the judge to clear Foxy of all charges.
“Its rooted in jealousy, it’s a [scary] thing like borderline obsession,” said Foxy, who denied the accusations. “Someone wants to be you and have the life I worked very hard for.”
Brown and her council were confident they could prove the defendant was lying had the case gone to trial telling the New York Daily News that Foxy’s penchant to not wear undergarments would have been the deciding factor in the case.
“Our big ace in the hold is she (Brown) wasn’t wearing any underwear,” Strazzulo told the Daily News.
Her accuser reported that she was exposed to Foxy’s underwear clad buttocks during an altercation last summer.
Karrine Steffans is coming forward to admit that memoirs posted in her book Confessions Of A Video Vixen were false.
And now Karrine’s reached a turning point in her career and is coming forward to speak on the controversial book that started it all,
“I’m a writer. I write sh*t. The vixen doesn’t exist. You can’t tell people that because they don’t believe that. It was all fabricated. I didn’t even name my books. Confessions of a video Vixen is not…I would have never named that book that. Somebody else named that book….I don’t want to be on TV. I don’t want to do any of this. This is ridiculous. I want to be anonymous. I want to be anonymous. Authors are supposed to be anonymous.
Is Rihanna a sucker for love? A close source has revealed to a UK tabloid, that the singer wants Chris Brown back and has been secretly meeting up with him at a mutual friends house. Being that Rihanna’s fans are not having it, she is having a hard time doing this in the public.
‘Ri-Ri’s always loved Chris – that never changed,’ reveals a source. ‘They’ve texted and Skyped each other a lot recently and met up at a mutual friend’s house in Los Angeles after the restraining order expired.’
‘Ri-Ri wants to be with Chris but is worried about her career and fans,’ says our insider.
‘She’s trying to find a way to take him back publicly without letting down her supporters, her management and her friends or setting a bad example.
‘Chris has said he’ll be as patient as she needs him to be but after being slammed on Twitter for just following him, she’s begun to worry that they may never get to be together in public.’
So much for anger management classes. We’re very disappointed in him over this.
This morning, Chris Brown put on quite a show for the folks at Good Morning America. No, we’re not talking about his on-air performance for the masses – we’re talking about the violent fit he had behind-the-scenes after Robin Roberts questioned him about his infamous Rihanna incident. Apparently, he thought the world was past all that.
Of course, he thought wrong.
Sources reveal that Chris begun to fume on-air while Robin began asking him about his violent past and the legal issues stemming from his attack on Rihanna. He tried as hard as he could, but Chris couldn’t get the conversation to veer back to focus on his album and this only angered him all the more. When the cameras finally stopped rolling, Chris lashed out and stormed back to his dressing room, where he became so out of control, the hair and makeup people called security.
But they were too late. By the time they got there, Chris had already torn the room apart and smashed a window in his dressing room. Supposedly, glass shattered and fell onto 43rd and Broadway. Then,
the Hulk he tore off his shirt and left the building, even though he was slated to perform a second time for the show’s website. And that is that.
You know, we can understand his frustration with people dwelling on his faults instead of his successes…but quite frankly, what he did was so horrific, we can’t imagine why he would think anyone would just let him forget about it, especially since he is a public figure. Furthermore, he had ZERO reason to act like this! The reporter was just doing her job. If he didn’t want to be asked those questions, he should’ve had his publicist say something to them beforehand or not done the interview at all!
And you know what? In the end, it will still only be him that suffers. Did you forget that you’re still on probation for a felony beating, Chris? We have a feeling this kind of disorderly conduct might put you in violation of that probation!
Rihanna’s lawyers have agreed to reduce the restraining order hanging over the singer’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after his lawyer complained it restricted his career. Brown was found guilty of assaulting the “Umbrella” singer after a pre-Grammy Awards party in 2009 and as part of his punishment he was ordered to stay away from her at all times, including music events.
Now, two years later, the “Kiss Kiss” star’s restraining order has been modified to a level one, which would allow him to be in the same room as his ex and even speak with her – as long as he doesn’t annoy, molest or harass her. Brown still has to complete 1,400 hours of community labor and he’s still on probation for his attack on Rihanna, In court last month for a progress report, a Los Angeles judge announced that the singer had finished a year-long domestic violence class.
In related news, Rihanna is fighting to recover from a sore throat in time for the Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 13. The R&B beauty has been struck down with a bout of bronchitis and laryngitis but she’s vowed to do everything she can to get better before music’s biggest night – insisting the show means “everything” to her.
In a post on Twitter.com, she tells her followers: “Bronchitis and laryngitis boo! I’m still goin to (Grammy) rehearsals tho! Sunday is everything.” The “Umbrella” hitmaker was due to perform five tracks at the Unforgettable Evening gala on Thursday, but she pulled out at the last minute to rest. She was replaced by Cee-Lo Green at the Women’s Cancer Research Fund event in Los Angeles.
Rihanna was previously forced to axe her slot at the 2009 Grammys after she was attacked by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown at a pre-prizegiving party. Rihanna’s single “Only Girl (In the World)” has been nominated for Best Dance Recording, while “Love the Way You Lie”, her collaboration with Eminem, is up for three Grammys at this year’s ceremony.
