50 Cent Plans Special Concert For Norway Attack Victims!

Rapper 50 Cent will invite survivors of Norway’s July 22 attacks to a private aftershow party after being shocked by the shooting rampage, Rogalands Avis newspaper reported Wednesday.

50 Cent — real name Curtis James Jackson III — told organizers of the RxR Festival in the southern Norwegian city of Stavanger that he wanted to do something to honor victims of the Utoya Island killings after following events on TV closely.

The American rapper agreed to perform at a special aftershow party following his headline set at the festival Thursday.

The concert would raise funds for the Utoya Fund, and 50 Cent invited all survivors to attend both the festival and the party. The rapper told organizers that he wanted to meet survivors before the festival.

Anders Behring Breivik confessed to shooting dead 69 mostly young people attending a youth camp on Utoya Island outside Oslo, after detonating a bomb in the center of the capital that killed eight people.

STATEMENT FROM 50 CENT :

“ We wanted to do something special for the victims of this horrible tragedy. Together, Tony Yayo and I along with the G-Unity Foundation felt an urgent need to give back and what better way than through our music. We look forward to putting on a great show for the survivors and hope that everyone comes out to show their support,” Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
