Study Finds Children That Are Spanked Become More Successful!!!

TopNews: Here’s a shocker: Young kids who are smacked by their parents grow up to be more successful than children who’re never spanked at all, claims a new study.

Lead researcher Marjorie Gunnoe, professor of psychology at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, said: “I think of spanking as a dangerous tool, but there are times when there is a job big enough for a dangerous tool. You just don’t use it for all your jobs.”

In the study, researchers found that children smacked up to the age of six were likely as teenagers to perform better at school and were more likely to carry out volunteer work and to want to go to university than their peers who had never been physically disciplined, reports The Times.

Only those children who continued to be smacked into adolescence showed clear behavioural problems, the study claimed.

The study was based on 2,600 people, of whom about a quarter had never been physically chastised.

Welcoming Gunnoe’s findings, Aric Sigman, a psychologist and author of The Spoilt Generation: Why Restoring Authority will Make our Children and Society Happier, said: “The idea that smacking and violence are on a continuum is a bizarre and fetishised view of what punishment or smacking is for most parents.

“If it’s done judiciously by a parent who is normally affectionate and sensitive to their child, our society should not be up in arms about that. Parents should be trusted to distinguish this from a punch in the face.” (ANI)

Tiger Woods Pays One Mistress Millions, 6 Mistresses Comes Forward & Photos Of His Women…

2006 U.S. Open Tennis - Day 14
Tiger Woods is paying millions of dollars to his mistress Rachel Uchitel. Tiger has reached an agreement that will pay Uchitel more than one million but less than three million. This will guarantee that Uchitel will not release hundred of emails and text messages that she has exchanged with Tiger during the past five months while they have had an affair. Uchitel also will not admit the affair publicly. She hired power attorney Gloria Allred after initially denying the affair, which was first reported by the National Enquirer. Allred scheduled a press conference for Thursday and Uchitel was negotiating to sell her story of her affair with Tiger to various media outlets. But Allred abruptly canceled the press conference after talks heated up between the rival camps.
Tiger will pay Uchitel a seven-figure amount that will guarantee her silence about their relationship. Negotiations were acrimonious at times but Tiger felt he needed to keep Rachel quiet and make sure the many messages between them did not become public.

While Rachel first publicly denied their affair, she quickly admitted privately and hired Allred. That’s when things heated up between the rival camps. But Rachel will walk away rich and Tiger will at least keep some of his secrets as he deals with the fallout of other women who are coming forward alleging an affair with the golfing great.

Tiger felt it was particularly important that Rachel not publicly reveal the nature of their relationship, especially after his bizarre early morning one-car crash right after Thanksgiving.

Rachel told pals they enjoyed sex after taking the sleeping drug Ambien and that she flew to Australia last month to be with Tiger.

It all adds up to shocking and blockbuster coverup of one intense affair that the golfer engaged in during the months leading up to his car crash and his public image taking a battering as various women came forward claiming affairs with the 33-year-old legend.

The deal to pay Uchitel shows that Tiger was extremely worried about the fact that she would spill the secrets of their relationship for the past five months and make public the hundreds of text messages and emails between them.

Jamie Jungers is revealing that her affair with Tiger Woods lasted nearly two years.
Jungers, a beautiful blonde model from Las Vegas, has made a deal to tell her story to a British newspaper.

Sources say that Jungers’ affair with the golfer fit the pattern of Tiger’s extra-marital dalliances, with the relationship spanning two years but contact sporadic. The story of her affair appeared in Britain’s Sunday Mirror and her ex fiance was quoted extensively. Jungers was behind the deal to tell the story and had shopped it to several papers. She did not want to be quoted directly but was directly involved in making the story public.

Some people say that Jungers is a lookalike for Woods’ wife Elin. Jungers met Tiger in Las Vegas and their romantic hookups took place in several different cities, with Tiger arranging for him to meet her.

Fabolous Talks About New Reality Show & More….

Fabolous recently revealed his plans to drop a new mixtape and star in his own reality show. The Brooklyn emcee, who released his fifth studio album, Losos’s Way, earlier this year, is expected to drop a mixtape with Atlanta based artist, DJ Drama. According to Fab, the untitled mixtape will be available for download Christmas Day.

Fabolous stated, “I feel like you really have to do something special now, but there’s not really anything special you can do on a mixtape besides trying different things musically or with the way you distribute it. I think it’s still a good tool for fans.” He also stated, When I do mixtapes, it’s pretty much to appease the fans.”

Outside of the music, Fabolous is set to star in his own reality television show with his son who was born in February of 2008. Unlike most reality dramas which are aimed at finding romance, Fabolous’ show will be geared towards fatherhood while balancing his career and parenting.

The name, network and air date for the up and coming reality show has yet to be announced.

“I’m working on this reality show, with me and my son,” Fab confirmed in an interview with interviewer Nesha. “It’s gonna be like, about young fatherhood where, well, not too young, but in the same token as being my first child and he’s so young and me still being relevant in hip-hop. You know, having to balance my career being a father at the same time. And then me actually not knowing much about parenting. The struggling in there should be fun, having some funny points, I have some drama, I have a lot of ups and downs, it should be a good reality show. It’s not crazy, I’m not searching for love on that Ray J sh*t.”

Kim Kardashian Speaks on Losing Her Virginity, Her Butt, Oral Sex, & More….

Kim Kardashian is fire. Reggie’s girl and the flyest K-Doll of the 3. Men love her, women hate her for no reason and she keeps on chucking and does her own thing. But what is she like in the bed? Kim reveals all in this interview, when she lost her virginity, feet, butt, giving or receiving and more.

Would you ever videotape yourself having sex again?

KARDASHIAN: Never, never, never again—obviously, because of what happened. I had to explain it to my little sisters, who’d be watching TV, and they’d see on E! or Extra, or something, my picture, and they’d be like, “Kimmy’s on TV!” And right next to it would be “Sex Tape.” And they’re like, “What’s that?” Just to have to sit down and explain it to them. My step-dad wouldn’t talk to me for three weeks. The stress that I know it put on my mom and my step-dad—just the whole family. If my dad were here to witness all of that, I don’t even know what I’d do. It’s just not worth it, basically.

How old were you when you lost your virginity and what were the circumstances?

KARDASHIAN: I was young. I had a boyfriend for four years…my first boyfriend. I was with him when I was 14; I’d say around late 14 or early 15, I don’t remember. We were sooo in love; I thought we were going to get married. I told my mom—I brought her in my bathroom and I’m like, Mom, I think I’m gonna have sex. I think I should go to the doctor and get put on birth control. And my mom was like, Okay. What else was she gonna say?

You get a lot of attention for your backside. What’s your favorite part of your body?

KARDASHIAN: My toes; I like my feet. But I’d say my butt. I like [the attention]; I think it’s funny. It bothered me when people would come up with rumors, like, “Oh, my god, she has butt implants, it can’t be real.” Who gets butt implants? Come on. Do you know anybody who has butt implants?

What do you wear to bed?

KARDASHIAN: I love lingerie. I love the little booty shorts—boy shorts. I sleep in lingerie every single night, whether I’m by myself or not. I like to wake up feeling good. You’d think a guy was coming over. Sometimes if I’m by myself I’ll wear cottony ones instead of lace ones and my girlfriends or sisters will come over, and they’ll be like, “Who is coming over? You’re so weird. There’s no guy around; what’re you doing?” But it’s totally for me.

Who do you think has the best ass in Hollywood?

KARDASHIAN: Jennifer Lopez; I love her. Jessica Biel has a cute butt, too.

Where’s the most unusual place you’ve had sex?

KARDASHIAN: An airplane. On a private plane though. I don’t think I’d do it on a commercial flight.

Are you for or against one-night stands?

KARDASHIAN: I think [sex is] really intimate and really personal. All my friends in college would have these one-night stands and meet these random people. I don’t like to meet people in random places; it’s really weird. I’ve been all over Europe, like last summer, and all over the world, and all my friends would be meeting people. And they’re like, “What’s wrong with you?” I don’t have random hookups. Everyone I’ve been with has become my boyfriend. Sometimes I wish, like, Live a little, have fun. I’m really into sex—with my boyfriend. I like to have a major connection, where it’s not just having sex.

What music do you like to listen to while making love?

KARDASHIAN: Oh, my god. Do you wanna die? I think I lost my virginity to an R. Kelly CD. I think we put the music up really loud.

Do you prefer giving or receiving oral sex?

KARDASHIAN: Giving. I just like to please my boyfriend. It’s cool when you know someone really well and you know what to do to make them feel good. I like to make him feel good.

If a guy you’re dating asks how many men you’ve slept with, how do you answer?

KARDASHIAN: I’d be completely honest. You want someone to know all about you; I’m really open. For me it’s probably different, because people probably assume that I’ve been with more than I have. I don’t feel like I should hide anyone that I’ve been with—I have nothing to hide; I have no regrets. So why should it be such a secret?

The Shooter Is Always More Nervous Than The One Shot

Thursday, October 29, 2009 was just like every other day of my life. Number 4. Call. Speed Dial. Girlfriend. It took no more than 5 seconds to let her know that I had arrived at our office and that I was waiting for her downstairs. It was quiet. Real quiet. This tree-lined block in Brooklyn at 10am on a Wednesday morning never made a lot of noise. I saw all four of them approach me. 2 kept walking. 2 stopped. They were young. Real young. 14. 15. Maybe. Whispers ensued. My blackberry was checked. My girlfriend came out and we were ready to go. “Hey mista! You know what time it is?” Yeah. 10 of 10. I guess the two kids didn’t have a watch or cell phone. I kept it moving. “Yo, why you starin’ at my man like that?” one kid said.  Confusion, but don’t fool me for a rookie in the game. We kept it moving. “Yo, mothafucka! Why you lookin’ at me like that?” he repeated. I ain’t lookin’ at you. “You sure?” Positive.

We turned the corner and they followed. Two young teenagers. Not in school. Bored. And it was just about to get more intense. “Yo! Why you walkin’ away you from me you piece of sh*t. I wanna fight you. I’m gonna fight you!” Options. What options do I have ran through my head as quickly as the time I was in the middle of a gun-fight in Port Au Prince and as quickly as the time when I was in the middle of a police riot in Swaziland with an RPG flew three feet from my head. Make one wrong move, and you can all start preparing what you would say to my mother at my funeral. “Yo! I’m gonna f*ck you up! I’m gonna fight you!”

Yeah, I know you want to fight me, but if I disrespected you, then I apologize. No harm intended. Face to face. Girlfriend. 20 feet away watching. My hand extended. Olive branch proposed. “Don’t touch me!” The talker kept talking, the quiet one seemed embarrassed. The quiet one took my hand and nodded his head. “YO! I’M GONNA FIGHT YOU!” The talker kept talking. No, you’re not gonna fight me, that is the last thing you want to do right now. We kept it moving. They kept following. “Yo! Let’s fight! Right now! Let’s fight!” Face to face. His hands clenched. His hands shaking. His lips quivering. Nervous. Real young. Really nervous.

I saw the punch coming before he even thought about throwing it. The shooter is always more nervous than the one shot. He swung and barely missed. He stepped back. I stepped forward. “Give me 10 dollas!” Get the f*ck out of here with that 10 dollars. The quiet one kept quiet. The talker now realized his options had come to an end. The anger had been released. The punch didn’t connect, but the anger got out. You both hungry? The quiet one shook his head yes quietly. The talker not trying to show defeat, agreed with a mean mug on his face. But hungry too. Let me take you both to breakfast and we can talk about what I do and how I do it. Both real hungry when they took a big bite out of the egg and cheeses with bacon that the deli served them with my ten dollars.

We shook hands. The quiet one finally spoke. “C’mon son. This guy is a good guy. Apologize.”  The talker apologized.  You can’t do that. You can’t just run up on people on the street and try to knock em’ out.  You have more intelligence than that. More promise. More potential. I go to work everyday for you. I’m the last one you want to hurt.  More apologies.  More bites into the sandwich.  Another one? Of course. Whatever you want. A pack of gum. And now even a smile and laugh. Three minutes ago, you tried to knock me out…now you sayin’ that “I’m your man.” Funny how money changes situations…

Poverty and Anger. Mix like rum and coke, but don’t make you feel as good. These two young men were hungry and angry. And those are two main ingredients for hopelessness. The most dangerous kid in America is a kid who has no hope. Get involved.

BET’s Rocsi Comes Clean on Sex, Suicide, & More…..

The tiny BET host doesn’t engage in the whirl of activity surrounding her. As her hair stylist and make-up artist go to work, and the fashion assistants bullet past her for last-minute adjustments, Rocsi Diaz — in a voice barely above a whisper — reminds the room that she has to be out of the Brooklyn studio in less than two hours for a meeting. She’s about her business. Her glass of Redbull and vodka remains untouched, still posted up next to a posse of eye shadows, blushes and glosses on the table.

The 25-year-old doesn’t crack her first smile until the pre-shoot convo shifts to Halloween and costumes — she’ll be Lady Gaga. The TV host is perfectly aware that her demeanor comes off a bit cold. She admits it took her BET producers months to realize that she didn’t hate them; she’s just quiet.

“Rocsi the personality and Rocsi the person are two different people,” she says.

And Rocsi the personality gets a lot of shit. She’s been called out of her name on blogs and trashed by commenters. It seems that everything about her is scrutinized — her wardrobe choices on 106th & Park, her ears when she pulls her hair back, and her alleged affair with Michael Misick, the former Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands and LisaRaye’s current husband.

“I think a lot of these Web sites need a story.” Rocsi says. “They need to find somebody to pick on, and I just so happen to be one of those girls. I’ve always had that coming up against Free on a black network and not being black.”

And although she won’t discuss what her manager refers to as the “LisaRaye situation,” she did touch on her relationship choices. “With men in my life, I’ve always made good choices. I would love to think that. It’s just really hard to trust people, and that’s just coming from not knowing everybody’s intentions,” Rocsi says.

If it’s not LisaRaye’s husband, it’s her 106th & Park co-host, Terrence J, Floyd Mayweather, Trey Songz, or Tyrese.

“I spent time doing radio so anybody that came on that couch, I had already interviewed. I had weight to my name already. So Queen Latifah, Ludacris, Lil’ Wayne, Baby, all these people respected me. They know me; they know I’m a hardworker. I just went out last night, and I had a genuine good time. I hardly ever really go out,” Rocsi says. “And the next day its ‘Rocsi’s dating … popping bottles with Trey Songz … tryna get with …’ I was like ‘What?! No, I wasn’t even sitting at his table!’” If I take a picture with somebody, I make it a point not even to put my arm around them. And it’s so hard because people just want to pick on you. I’m like ‘Dude, you don’t sleep with everyone you take a picture with.’ Like, come on. I think it’s getting to an ignorant stage.

“I got where I’m at because of my work,” Rocsi insists. “I never had to lay on my back to get where I was. I come from a Latino background where family and the way we were brought up was very important. That’s how we conducted ourselves as ladies. And that’s a very important thing to my family, so yeah, when these blogs come out and they start talking shit — you’re messing with what my parents instilled in me. And I know it isn’t true. But I’m glad I have great family members who know that I wasn’t brought up that way, to not be blinded by this industry.”

“It hurts when my brothers call me,” she continues. “I mean it’s real bad when it gets to the point where everything’s so unbearable. You really got to have that strength, because if I didn’t have that strength in me, I would kill myself. There are some days when I’m like ‘How bad do I want to kill myself right now? What is the point of going on when so many people despise me or hate what I do?’”

Rocsi’s not suicidal. Hard on herself at times, perhaps, but she prays to keep her strength. “At the end of the day, I don’t meltdown because I’m still going to be on BET,” Rocsi says. “Internet gangsters are so tough. They’re so tough.”

It was her shocking revelation on national television in July that gave millions of viewers a peek at Rocsi “the person” and may have garnered her more fans than dissenters. During an episode of 106th & Park that discussed self-image, Rocsi admitted to dealing with anorexia for about three years when she was a high school cheerleader.

“You’re never really cured, because sometimes you have to psych yourself up that you’re eating healthy, you’re at a healthy weight. As women you have those fat days, but in my mind, those days are a little too frequent,” Rocsi says. “To this day, when somebody calls me thick, that’s not a compliment to me. Don’t call me thick. I hate that. I think thick is fat. I used to think that if I had curves or stomach flab that meant I was fat. I used to go over 110 lbs, I would think ‘I’m fat.’ If I see on a scale 118 [lbs.], I would start starving myself to get myself down to what I need to be at.”

It’s not all about weight, though. The ridicule celebrities receive does not go unnoticed. “That’s why I give Solange props for cutting all her hair off,” she says. “I wish I could do that. My ears are too big, though.”

With accolades from men’s magazines, and the decision to do a King magazine spread in 2007, her confidence seems palpable. Plus, the five-feet and some change host is pretty petite, although she admittedly doesn’t come from a naturally small family. “We’re Latinos. We like to eat,” she says. “The majority of the people in my family were heavyset.”

Born in Honduras and bred in the Big Easy, Rocsi moved to Dallas to live with her father when her mother relocated to Egypt in 2000. She got her first taste of radio in Texas as a member of a street team.

“It was just an opportunity to have a cool job at the time,” Rocsi recalls. “I became infatuated with the radio station. I started hanging out in the studio trying to learn how the boards work.”

The programming director had her reading commercials within three months and she found herself on a weekend show shortly after. Then HOT 97 in Boston called with a job offer. Considering her track record, it’s easy to assume she’s already planning life after BET. And she is, kind of. Rocsi wants to be an actress. She’s taking classes, checking out some scripts, but she assures me she’s happy at BET.

“I would love to do film and [be] casted … in a dramatic role. I just want to be great at [acting]. Until then, I love my job and there’s nothing in the world that would bring me to leave 106th. I think we’re getting bigger and badder and there’s no point in me leaving right now. But I could dab,” Rocsi says. “Acting is my therapy. I could be somebody else and if I want to cry, I can cry, if I want to scream out … because if Rocsi does it, Rocsi looks crazy.”
