According to the news report:
Cornell Hood II just couldn’t stay out of trouble.
Hood moved from eastern New Orleans to the Slidell area after he admitted to separate charges of distribution of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana on Dec. 18, 2009, in Orleans Parish Criminal District Court. He received a suspended five-year prison sentence and five years’ of probation for each — which was precisely the same penalty he got in that court after pleading guilty to possessing and intending to distribute marijuana on Feb. 22, 2005.
When Hood switched homes, he also requested a new probation officer based in St. Tammany. Authorities granted the wish, and the officer, Dustin Munlin, drove to Hood’s place for a routine visit on Sept. 27, 2010. Munlin found nearly two pounds of pot throughout the house, according to court records. He alerted Sheriff’s Office deputies. Prosecutors later charged him with one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
At his trail which lasted one day Cornell was charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana which usually results in less than 15 year sentence but in New Orleans people are subject to life imprisonment after being convicted three or more times of a crime that carries a sentence exceeding 10 years.
Wow, this seems a bit severe for weed.. you getting life for weed man..SMDH!

Having your freedom taken away has to be one of the worst feelings for any man or woman. It doesn’t matter if you’re a celebrity. When those bars shut behind you, there’s a lot of time to reflect on past mistakes and what got you here in the first place.
Atlanta rapper T.I. recently wrote a letter from prison that was posted on his blog about his current situation. To say he’s upset about it would be an understatement.
“This experience is truly a pain I have never felt before and that’s saying a lot for a n*gga who’s been down locked up as many times as I have. I see this as a real a** whoopin’. The kind you don’t just go back outside to play afterwards. You take ya ass to bed and don’t come out of your room until it’s time to go to school.
I don’ t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I’m certainly sick and mother f*cking tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it. I’d have been better off doing a 5-10 year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks and months for the last 15 years of my life.
Even though it’s been a long road, I’m still standing, barely but nevertheless still standing. At one time I thought my motivation for continuing was for my fans, my partna Philant, my pops, my grandmama, even for the haters or the people I let down. But nah… I got to do this s*** for me!!! I’ll be God damned if I’ve come all this way and made it through so much hell to let it go down like this! F*ck that! If an hour in the dark is worth a second in the sun then pass me my mother f*ckin’ shades cause I’m ready to cash my darkest hours in…ASAP!!!
A lot of folks had fathers or father figures in the house to raise them into manhood. I’m not trying to make any excuses for my situation but my father was a hustler that lived in New York. My uncle was a local big time dope boy turned 10 year federal inmate.
My mother and grandparents did the best they could but I found my manhood in the trap and in prison systems. But I found it. And nan one of mine will ever have to feel the cold tight grip of a handcuff or grace the presence of a jail cell if I can help it.
Over my dead body!
So if you can’t respect that you ain’t rocking with my movement then F*ck you dog! I know a bunch of mother f*ckers who are…..

Hello world. Time is ticking and I’m counting every second. Because of my new limitations, this unfortunately has to be my last letter. I don’t think people truly understand how much their thoughts and well wishes have helped me through this time in my life. Not everyone is as lucky as I am and it humbles me daily. You would be amazed what positivity can do in a negative environment. I’m going to miss reading about your lives. I’m going to miss looking at the pictures. They were the highlight of my days aside from speaking with my kids. Don’t stress over this in 27 days, the ride starts again.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who is supporting I Am Not A Human Being. It amazes me each time people go out and support my music. I’ll always be in debt to you for that. Keep rocking your “Free Weezy” tees and rocking out to my music. Trust me when I say this is almost over. I love you. I’ll continue to pray for all of you. Just keep doing the same for me.

A 26-year-old German policeman is facing serious disciplinary action after he was caught having sex with a woman in church in the middle of service.
The young officer of the law was seen engaging in the act by a woman that was visiting the Catholic church, located in Rennertshofen, as she visited holy building during early morning service. The woman and officer reportedly fled the scene upon discovery; unfortunately, witnesses recognized the duo and turned them in.
Hans-Peter Kammerer, spokesman for the regional police, told local media that the man is facing several disciplinary actions, including a charge of disturbing religious activities, which carries a three year prison sentence.

Williams was arrested this morning, after cops say a man named Daniel Broach claimed the comedian broke into his home on Sunday night and stole $3,555 worth of jewelry and collectable coins.
Broach told cops Katt used a crowbar to break into his home, which is around 38 miles southwest of Atlanta.
Katt’s lawyer told us the whole thing is a sham — and is just the result of a dispute Katt had with a another man.
Katt has yet to post bond.
UPDATE: Katt is free to roam — we’re told he just posted bond.
