Ashanti flew out to Hawaii last week, to relax on a beach with her fam, and enjoy the sunshine. Oh, and to show off her banging bikini body…
Since her split with Nelly, Ashanti has been on her grind from TV production to music, and is said to be planning on releasing her 5th album independently later this year, as a result of her departure from Universal Motown in 2009.

Tila Tequila is stepping back from Twitter and opening up about her memories of Casey Johnson, to whom the reality star, 28, was engaged in the weeks leading up to the heiress’s shocking death at age 30.
“I’m trying to remember what’s good,” Tequila told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview Monday. “She was such a loving and beautiful person. I want people to remember her as that.”
Though they had been dating only a month, Tequila, born Tila Nguyen, says she and Casey had known each other through mutual friends in Hollywood – and initially didn’t think romance was an option.
“We just hated each other through gossip. When people talk about someone you have preconceived judgments,” Tequila says. “But one day I texted and she was the cutest thing ever. She was nothing I had envisioned. I thought, I cannot believe this is the Casey Johnson people used to tell me about.”
Nervous First Date
On their first date, “She was so nervous at my house. Dropping things. I could tell she was nervous … We just ended up laughing all night. We just fell in love,” says Tequila.
And they didn’t waste any time moving the romance along. “Lesbians tend to move very fast. They call us U-haul lesbians and that’s what we did. She U-hauled herself into my house the next day,” says Tequila. “She brought all her dogs. Racks of clothes. I have two bedrooms and she filled up the entire bedroom and guest bedroom with all her shoes and clothes. I came home and the bathroom is filled with all her stuff. Makeup, picture frames of her daughter Ava everywhere. I was like this is hilarious. I said I feel like we’d been married five years.”
Indeed, marriage soon became a topic of discussion. “One night she comes over and she was so nervous. I was like what’s wrong with you, calm down!” Tequila recalls. “She was so nervous and so cute and finally she pulled out this fat ring that I had never seen before.”
After presenting Tequila with the 17-carat diamond, the Johnson & Johnson heiress said, ” ‘Will you please wear this? I want you to be my wife.’ ” Tequila recalls. “We started laughing and crying.”
Starting a Life Together
Though Johnson maintained another residence, where she was found dead on Jan. 4, “We were so excited about starting a new life together,” says Tequila. “I was going to buy the house and she was going to buy the car.”
Tequila also had plans to formally adopt Johnson’s daughter Ava, 3, whom Johnson adopted from Kazakhstan in 2007 and who had been living with Johnson’s mother Sale for several months.
“Casey and I were working out [getting custody],” says Tequila. “I was going to adopt Ava and we decided she would call her Mommy and me Mommy T. We were going to have a big family. She wanted seven children, but she said she wanted me to be the pregnant one.”
Shocked by Death
Johnson’s death from as yet undetermined causes came as a shock to her fiancée. After squabbling over Casey’s untrained dogs in a phone conversation on Dec. 30, while Tequila was in her home state of Texas visiting family, Tequila says she went a whole day without hearing from Johnson.
“At first I thought sometimes she likes to sleep in till 5 p.m. She has done that before and it freaks me out. Then I thought maybe she was mad at me. We’d fight over little things. Then she’d apologize. Or I thought she was with the Hiltons.”
After calling friends and an assistant to check up on Johnson, Tequila learned the terrible news. “I booked the flight home right then. I was in shock.”
Tequila says it was only days after the news broke that things really sunk in. “It really hit me when I found all the cards she had written me,” she says. “My therapist put me on suicide watch. I’ve been getting help but I’m fine now. I know Casey wants me to be alive and she hates seeing me like this. She always hated it when she would see me cry.”
Jana Rawlinson After Breast Surgery (left) And Before (right)
An Australian track star had her breast implants removed in an attempt to boost her chances of winning a medal at the 2012 Olympics.
In a magazine interview, Jana Rawlinson admitted she spent $13,000 in the past 14 months getting her breasts enhanced — only to have the cosmetic procedure reversed.
“Yep, I’m back to being flat as a pancake,” Rawlinson told Woman’s Day magazine.
The 27-year-old runner said she had the implants taken out because she felt they were affecting her performance on the track.
“Every time I raced, I panicked about whether I was letting my country down, all for my own vanity,” she said.
“I absolutely loved having bigger boobs, but I don’t want to short-change Australia either. I want to feel the most athletic I can, to know that I’m standing on the track in London (2012 Olympics) the fittest I can be.”
Rihanna is spotted in Mexico locking lips with LA Dodger Matt Kemp. Matt Kemp has been seen with Rihanna at least three times in the last three weeks.
Pop singer, Rihanna plans to release a new photo filled book. Amazon just posted the details and the book is called “Rihanna: The Last Girl On Earth.” It’s set for a June 29th release date and will be published by Rizzoli New York. For $50, you can have a hardback cover book with tons of Rihanna images in 144 pages and written text. The book is also listed as having contributions by Simon Henwood, who designed her Rated R logo and has been working with her as an art director for her album, videos, and upcoming tour. Despite internet reports that this will be a “tell-all” of some sorts, that hasn’t been confirmed and actually the evidence points more toward a picture book.
Famed attorney Gloria Allred is looking to score against NBA great Shaquille O’Neal and she’ll head to the court (room), if that’s what it takes. Allred is representing Vanessa Lopez, a model who claims Shaq has been harassing her. “I can confirm I’m representing Vanessa Lopez.”
Shaq’s wife Shaunie has filed for legal separation with intent to divorce, after a rocky marriage that was beset by numerous reports of her husband cheating. Their next court hearing is March 22.
In 2008 Alexis Miller an Atlanta hip-hop artist, got a restraining order against O’Neal, claiming he threatened to hurt her after their romantic relationship dissolved. She also charged that he would call and breathe heavily into the phone plus said he would ruin her career.
Shaq, who now plays alongside LeBron James for the Cleveland Cavaliers, was recently rumored to be romantically involved with the fiancé of another NBA player.
And while O’Neal has been voted one of the NBA’s best 50 players ever, he’ll undoubtedly have trouble with Allred’s Hack a Shaq legal strategy, which usually leaves few secrets uncovered.
For Allred, this is her second known foray into the world of sports in recent months. She’s representing several women linked to Tiger Woods, including Rachel Uchitel, whose five-month affair with the golfer was exposed by the National Enquirer and caused a domino effect of Tiger mistresses being revealed, leading Tiger to take an indefinite break from golf.
Shaq’s estranged wife is executive producer of the VH-1 show “Basketball Wives,” which will show the benefits of being married to an NBA star and the downside, including worrying about husbands staying faithful.

An HIV-positive man infected his wife with the virus because he wanted to start having sex with her again.
The 35-year-old injected his blood into the sleeping woman, who had refused to have a physical relationship for a year after discovering he was carrying the virus that causes Aids.
He pricked her twice with a sewing needle laced with his blood, believing the pair would be ‘equals’ once more. But he was behind bars in New Zealand today awaiting sentencing after admitting infecting another person with a disease.
The husband had emigrated to the country in 2004 with his wife and two young children, none of whom can be named.
Immigration officials found he had HIV, but his wife and children did not, during compulsory health checks.
The woman, 33, confronted her partner on discovering she was infected a year later.
She said: ‘All he said was he was sorry. He told me “I used needles on you because I wanted you to be the same as me so that you can live with me and you won’t leave me”.’
She told the court: ‘I just wanted to maintain the relationship for the sake of the children…He insisted on staying and mentioned that he was not worried about sex…any more. All he wanted was to see the children grow with both parents under one roof.’
But in May last year, she said, she discovered a sting-like mark on her left thigh. ‘After having a shower I put some lotion on myself and I could feel pain on my thigh. When I looked at it, it was turning red like a circle, getting and bigger.’
Later that morning, when she returned home from her nursing studies unexpectedly, she said, she saw her husband in the bedroom with a syringe full of blood.
When she asked him what he was doing, he pushed past her and walked away, refusing to discuss it. The wife searched a rubbish bin for evidence of the syringe but found nothing.
The paper reported that two days later the wife woke to a stinging feeling in her leg. ‘In my sleep I felt a prick on my leg I got up..and I flicked the blankets…I looked at (the husband) and he was wide awake.’
She said she asked him if he had pricked her and he said he had not. But later she found evidence of ‘blood sprinkles’ on their duvet, which, she said, her husband tried to hide from her.
She told him to leave the house – and in September, when her doctor suggested a test at a routine check-up, she found she was HIV-positive.
A nurse who had been in contact with the family and who was present when her GP told her the bad news told the court: ‘At this meeting (the woman) was beside herself with emotion. (She) could not work out how she had got HIV because she stated that she had not had sex with her partner for about a year.’
Later, during a meeting with an infectious disease specialist, the husband cried and repeated: ‘Please forgive me.’
The Sunday Star Times quoted Mr Simon Harger-Ford of the New Zealand Aids Foundation as saying that the organisation had never heard of a victim being infected in such a way ‘and with such intent.’
Serena Williams’ infamous U.S. Open rant where she cussed at a lineswoman is set to cost her a record amount of money. U.S. Open officials concluded that Serena violated the “major offense rule” for “aggravated behavior” and will have to pay $82,500.
Grand Slam administrator Bill Babcock told The Associated Press Monday that Serena Williams will pay the fine and could be suspended from the tournament if she has another “major offense” at any Grand Slam in the next two years.
Babcock also told the AP that Williams faces a “probationary period” at tennis’ four major championships in 2010 and 2011. If she has another “major offense” at a Grand Slam tournament in that time, the fine would increase to $175,000 and she would be barred from the following U.S. Open.
I’m sure this recent fine is a small thing to a giant like Serena. She earned $350,000 at the semifinals before the incident which she added to the $6.5 million in prize money she earned this year. All together, her career prize money tops $28 million.
