The Audi e-tron Spyder features what is without a doubt the most advanced and simultaneously the most consistent evolution of the current Audi design language, while also providing initial hints at the design language of future Audi sports cars. It reinterprets the most important design elements that already characterized the previous e-tron concept vehicles. This also ensures the necessary formal differentiation to the purely electric-powered Audi e-tron shown at the 2010 Detroit Motor Show. The two-seater is equipped with a 300-hp twin-turbo V6 TDI at the rear axle and two electric motors producing a total of 64 kW at the front axle. The Audi e-tron Spyder’s low total weight of 3,196 lbs combined with the high-torque TDI and the two electric motors results in respectable performance. The car accelerates to 60 in less than 4.5 seconds, and top speed is electronically governed at 155 mph.

Singer Teairra Mari will appear on “Love & Hip Hop 2,” according to her publicist who is already shopping interviews, but VH1 is keeping her a secret for some reason.  But they have confirmed 2 other new cast members.

We already know this new season kicks off with a bang as Chrissy reportedly beat down newcomer Kimbella (Juelz Santana‘s baby mama twice over), shutting down production for days.  And now we also know there’s another newbie named Yandy Smith who is Jim Jones’ manager..

When last season left off, Emily was moving on from Fabolous (even though they’re back together now), Olivia was still pushing for a new album, Somaya was still beefing with the other girls and chasing the dreams of her rap career and moving out her producer’s attic, and Chrissy was still waiting on a real answer from Jim Jones to her proposal.

Who Will Be Hip-Hop 1st Billionaire?

With a net worth of around $550 million, Diddy has been picked by Forbes as the front runner to become hip-hop’s first billionaire.

However, the Bad Boy CEO does have competition. Jay-Z ($450 million), Dr. Dre ($250 million), Birdman ($110 million) and 50 Cent ($100 million) are all in the running.

Birdman thinks he will beat Diddy to the Forbes 400 list.

“I think Young Money Cash Money would be the first billion-dollar brand in hip-hop,” said Birdman in an email message to Forbes. “We strong and growing every day as a brand and fast. Within the next few years we will be billionaires.”

Meanwhile 50 Cent sees Hov as his main competition. He told Forbes’ Zack O’Malley Greenburg, that he and Jay-Z use each other for motivation.

“We use each other,” 50 explained. “If you’re in a category, you have to find someone you respect enough to consider a competitor. And then you use each other in positive ways. They make a good move, you make a good move. If there’s nobody for that, then there’s no inspiration.”

50 did concede that Jigga has an unfair advantage.

“He cheated,” 50 said, grinning. “See, he hired this girl …”

50 Cent is launching his new energy shot, Street King. His goal is to provide 1 billion meals over the next five years. With every shot purchased, a meal is provided for a child in need.

2011 Mercedes F125 Concept

On January 29, 1886, Karl Benz received an official patent for his “automobile fueled by gas.” Now, 125 years later, Mercedes is celebrating that event with the unveiling of the F125 – a concept car that previews the next generation S-Class and CL-Class.

The F125 concept is powered by four electric motors that take their power from a hydrogen fuel cell stack. The four electric motors deliver a total output of 231 HP and will sprint the concept from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 136 mph – quite impressive performance numbers for a car in this class.

Even more impressive is the fact that the concept has an autonomy of 620 miles. It also comes equipped with a chargeable lithium-ion battery that will help the F125 to run only on electricity for a total length of 31 miles.

Full details about the F125 concept will be revealed today in Frankfurt so stay tuned!

Odd Future Gets 15 Min. Live-Action Show w/ Adult Swim!

Adult Swim announced today it has picked up the live-action series Loiter Squad, a 15 minute live-action show that features sketches, man on the street segments, pranks and music from Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. The cast, featuring the Los Angeles collective of rappers, artists, and skateboarders, channel their multi-faceted creative talents in this off-the-wall showcase.

This announcement comes on the heels of Tyler, The Creator’s “Best New Artist” win at the 2011 Video Music Awards. Creating their own show comes as a natural next step for Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, whose accomplishments have garnered wide media attention in 2011 and continue to compound on themselves. Tyler, The Creator’s Goblin LP has sold more than 100,000 copies and his Yonkers video has been viewed more than 22 million times. Odd Future is on the verge of their first national tour and the release of their Golf Wang book in November will document their travels and hometown exploits.

Birdman Didn’t Really Cop $8 Million Maybach Exelero!

Back in May Cash Money records CEO Bryan “Birdman” Williams hinted via Twitter that he had purchased an $8 million Maybach Exelero, but according to the luxury car’s owner the vehicle remains for sale.

Birdman took to Twitter to boast of a new car purchase and after posting a picture of the $8 million 2005 concept car,

posted the tweet,

“8million 0n a whip all red.blievetht.custom made.ymcmb.”

European entrepreneur Arnaud Massartic, the current owner of the Exelero, has told MotorAuthority that Birdman is yet to pay for the car, leading to speculation that the multi-millionaire musician may have some liquidity issues. While Birdman currently owns a Maybach Landaulet valued at around $1.5 million, as well as a Bugatti Veyron that cost $2 million, according to a recent article in Forbes, many of his cars still have money owing on them.
